    Fancy Fettuccine from Balsam Mountain Inn

    List of Ingredients

    8 ounces fettuccine
    1 large can artichoke hearts
    1 tbsp. butter
    1-1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
    1/2 pkg. Knorr Leek Soup Mix
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. dill weed
    1-1/2 cups milk
    1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup grated parmesan
    1 tbsp. flour
    1/2 to 1 tsp. salt

    Recipe

    Cook fettucine according to package directions.
    Meanwhile, drain and coarsely chop the artichoke hearts. Melt butter in skillet, add artichokes and mushrooms. Saute until tender, stirring occasionally. Add soup mix, basil and dill weed; mix well. Toss flour with cheese; add milk & cheeses to skillet, stirring until cheese melts & mixture thickens - about 3 or 4 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until fettucine is ready. Drain fettucine, place in serving dish and top with sauce.
