    List of Ingredients




    1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
    1 egg white (I used Just Whites according to package directions)
    10 ounces veggie burger patties (I used Boca Burgers Original)
    14½ ounces diced tomatoes with Italian-style herbs
    8 ounces tomato sauce
    1/2 teaspoon basil leaves

    Recipe



    1. In shallow bowl, combine bread creumbs and cheese; mix well. Place egg white in another shallow bowl; beat well.

    2. Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium heat until hot. dip veggie burgers in egg white; coat with bread crum mixture. Spray both sides of each burger with cooking spray; add to skillet. Cook 4 to 6 minutes or until browned on both sides.

    3. Add remaining ingredients; stir gently to mix. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until sauce is of desired consistency, stirring occasionally. If desired serve with additional Parmesan cheese. (I removed the patties before adding sauce ingredients, then returned them to the pan.)
