Southwestern Beef & Pasta Stir-fry

1 1/2 cups uncooked dried penne pasta
12 oz (3/4-inch thick) boneless sirloin steak, cut into strips
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 serrano chile pepper, seeded, finely chopped
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp instant beef bouillon granules
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cauliflower florets
1/2 cup salsa
**Other chile peppers can be substituted or use 2 tbsp canned chopped mild green chilies.Recipe
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; keep warm.
Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet or wok melt butter until sizzling; add garlic powder and steak strips. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until lightly browned. Add chile pepper; continue cooking until partially cooked.
Stir in water, oyster sauce and bouillon granules. Add broccoli and cauliflower. Continue cooking until mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook until vegetables are crisply tender (3 to 4 minutes). Stir in hot cooked pasta and salsa.
