    4 large eggs
    2 cups sugar
    2 cups flour, sifted
    1 cup milk
    1 stick butter
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 pinch salt
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon cinnamon

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour two 9" round cake pans.

    Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl to blend. Mix in oil, eggs and 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Add bananas, 1 cup of pecans and pineapple; blend well.

    Beat eggs and sugar until very thick and light. Add 2 cups sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; blend well.

    Heat milk just to scalding; meanwhile, melt 1 stick of butter. Mix hot milk and melted butter. Pour into cake batter and stir, being sure to scrape bottom of bowl. Mix in vanilla. Pour into greased 13x9 pan.

    Melt 1/2 stick of butter. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly over the cake batter; drizzle with the melted butter.

    Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30-35 minutes. Cake will be pulling away from sides and toothpick inserted in center will come out clean when cake is done.
