Cake:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup nuts
Icing:
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup evaporated milkRecipe
Sift dry ingredients together and add eggs and pineapple. Mix well and pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Pur brown sugar and nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Mix all of the icing ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a rolling boil. Pour at once over hot cake.
