List of Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 6oz cans tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 2 (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 (28 oz) cans tomato puree
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 3 beef neckbones
Instructions
- Brown onion lightly in a small amount of olive oil in a large pot. Add tomato paste and water; stir until tomato paste is thinned. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bring to a slow boil and reduce heat; cook covered over low heat about 2 hours, stirring frequently to keep from burning. If sauce is too thick water may be added. If desired, meatballs or Italian sausage may be added to sauce.
