    List of Ingredients




    1 lb smoked polish sausage (cut into bite-size pieces)
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cups + shredded cabbage
    1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
    1 (16 oz) can chicken broth
    1 tsp basil
    1 tsp oregano
    Pepper to taste
    Water if needed

    Recipe



    Brown sausage, pepper, onions and cabbage in bottom of soup pot. Add tomatoes, broth and water (if needed). Add oregano, basil and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about an hour.

    *I always have to add water to mine so when I used the recipe builder I put in 2 cups. I roughly guesstimated that my Dutch oven holds 12 cups so I make all my soups into 12 1-cup servings. This also needs a lot more basil and oregano.
