    Lemon Basil Pasta

    1/2 lb. linguine or other pasta
    2 Tbsps. unsalted butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1-1/2 tsps. basil leaves
    3/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe





    Cook pasta in a large pan of boiling water 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and return pasta to pan. Combine next 5 ingredients in a bowl. Toss with cooked pasta. Sprinkle cheese over pasta and serve immediately.

    Main dish variation: Toss in 2 cups cooked, cubed chicken or 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined before sprinkling with cheese.
