BLT, CHICKEN AND PASTA SALAD

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons finely chopped chives
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces pasta twists
6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
3 cups torn Bibb lettuce
1 large tomato, chopped
Recipe
In a large salad bowl, combine mayonnaise, water, barbecue sauce, vinegar, chives, garlic, and pepper; mix until well blended.
Place chicken in 6-quart saucepot. Add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil; simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. With slotted spoon, remove chicken to cutting board. Cut into bite-size pieces.
Add enough water to chicken liquid to cook pasta. Bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 9 minutes or until firm-tender. Drain well.
Add hot pasta to dressing; add chicken, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Toss gently to mix.
