Although this is not the way my Babcia and my Mom made Cabbage Soup this is still an interesting version.
List of Ingredients
1 Kielbasa sausage (average size)
1 small head cabbage, shredded coarsely
16 oz. can red kidney beans
2-3 medium potatoes, dicedRecipe
Slice sausage 1/2-3/4 " slices.
Simmer the sausage 20 to 30 minutes in just enough water to cover.
Add cabbage, potatoes and undrained beans and cook for an additional 20 minutes or until all ingredients are tender. The amounts of cabbage and potatoes can be adjusted to individual taste.
Note: Keeps well in refrigerator for a few days.
