Overnight Salad
List of Ingredients
1 head iceberg lettuce
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup diced green pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. uncooked frozen small peas
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 cups mayonnaise
2 T sugar
6 oz. sharp Cheddar
4 strips crumbled cooked baconRecipe
Break washed lettuce into large bowl.
Layer lettuce, celery, pepper, onion and water chestnuts.
Top with peas.
Spread mayonnaise on top; sprinkle with sugar, then cheese, then bacon bits.
Seal with Saran wrap.
Refrigerate overnight.
