3lbs. red cabbage
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter
2 T red wine vinegar
1 T sugar
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup red currant jelly
Recipe
Shred cabbage. Discard tought parts.
Cook in butter, stirring for 3-4 min.
Add water, vinegar and sugar.
Cover and simmer for 1 hr.
Add jelly and salt and pepper to taste.
