Bacon And Water Chestnut Wraps

1 large can water chestnuts
(whole)
1 lb. sliced bacon
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1 small jar (10 oz.)
maraschino cherries
toothpicks
In jar place whole water chestnuts. Cover with 1/2 cup
water and 1/2 cup soy sauce. Let stand 2 hours. Drain and set aside. Take your bacon and cut in half. Take maraschino
cherries and cut in half.
Lay bacon down and put a water chestnut in middle and
wrap bacon around, overlapping ends of bacon. Put 1/2 cherry on top of overlapping bacon and put a toothpick to hold it together; put on broil pan and do the same with the rest.
Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes or until bacon becomes
crisp. Serve hot. Serves 4.
