Sweet And Sour Bites

1 (14 oz.) jar hot ketchup
1 (10 oz.) jar apple jelly
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 lb. ground meat
1 egg
1 c. bread crumbs
seasonings to taste
Mix ground meat, egg, bread crumbs and seasonings
together. Shape into large marble-size balls and brown them in
skillet. Meanwhile, in heavy gauge pot, melt together hot
ketchup and apple jelly. After they have been blended
together, add pineapple chunks and juice. Then, add fried meat
balls and simmer covered 30 minutes. Serve with toothpicks
while it is hot.
