    Amish Angel Food Cookies

    1 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. coconut

    Mix Crisco and sugar until creamy; add egg. Sift all dry
    ingredients together. Add to other mixture. Roll dough into small
    balls and dip into water, then into brown sugar. Put on cookie sheet.Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
