Amish Hamburger Casserole

1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. chopped celery
1/2 lb. noodles
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. canned tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
Saute celery in butter and brown the meat. Cook noodles
in salted water according to package directions and drain.
Layer noodles and meat in greased 10 x 10 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top with cream of chicken soup and the tomatoes. Sprinkle with
more cheese. Bake, uncovered, one hour in 350 degrees oven. Servewith salad and French bread. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
