Amish Potato Soup

5 large potatoes, cut in large cubes
1 large carrot, grated
1 large onion, chopped
1 stick celery, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
3 strips bacon, cut fine
Boil all ingredients until potatoes fall apart. Crush
with potato masher until only tiny lumps remain. Add one large
can Pet milk and 1/2 cup fresh milk. Heat through. Do not
boil.
