    Amish White Cookies

    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. oil
    2 eggs
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt

    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and oil. Add dry
    ingredients. Roll in balls. Press with fork on ungreased
    cookie sheet. Bake until light tan in a 350 degrees oven; 13 to 15 minutes.
