    Barbecued Chicked

    3 pound fryer chicken, halved or 3 lbs chicken parts
    18 ounces Char-Grill or Hickory smoke flavored barbecue sauce by Kraft
    1 can beer
    1 tablespoon Tabasco or other bottled hot sauce
    1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke
    1 tablespoon barbecue spice
    1/4 cup honey
    1 cup Sangria
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon white vinegar

    1- Prepare a medium-hot fire in a barbecue grill. In a small nonereactive saucepan, bring barbecue sauce and next 8 ingredients to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes.

    2- Meanwhile, grill chicken, skin side down, 10 minutes. Turn and grill 10 minutes longer. Brush with some of the sauce and continue to grill, turning occasionally and brushing with sauce until chicken juices run clear when pricked with a knife tip, 25 to 30 minutes longer. Stop basting about five minutes before chicken is done.

    3- Place chicken into serving dish and pour extra sauce over chicken
