    Nutty Apple Bread

    2 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 tablespoons dairy sour cream
    1 cup peeled, chopped apples
    1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts


    Lightly grease 9x5x3-inch loaf pan and set aside.

    Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until
    light and fluffy.

    Sift flour with baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add
    to egg mixture alternating with oil and sour cream and beating
    well after each addition.

    Stir in apples and nuts and spoon into prepared pan.

    Bake in preheated 350 F oven 1 hour.

    Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool
    completely on rack.

    Makes 1 loaf, 9x5x3-inches
