Parmesan Dinner Rolls

3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
2 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent dinner rolls
1 egg white, beaten
poppy seed
In small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and thyme. Preheat
oven to 375 degrees. Separate crescent dough into 8 rectangles.
Press perforations; brush some egg white over rectangles.
Sprinkle cheese mixture over 6 rectangles. Stack 3 cheese
topped rectangles, then top with a plain rectangle. Repeat
with remaining dough. Cut each rectangle lengthwise in half, then cut each half crosswise in half. Cut each quarter into 2 triangles. Sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake on cookie sheet 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 16 rolls.
