Lemon Steak

3 lb. chuck steak
2 Tbsp. softened butter or
margarine
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 large lemon, sliced
2 medium onions
1 c. catsup
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. water
Wipe steak with damp cloth. Place in large baking dish.
Rub with softened butter. Season with salt and pepper; cover with lemon and onion slices. Combine catsup, Worcestershire sauce and water and pour over steak. Cover so meat will steam tender (aluminum foil makes a snug fitting lid). Bake in 350 degrees oven for 2 hours or until tender. Makes 6 servings
