    Mustard Steak

    MOM
    2 lb. round steak
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. hot water
    1 c. dairy sour cream

    Cut beef into 6 equal pieces. Coat with flour. Cook
    slowly in oil until richly browned. Combine remaining ingredients except sour cream and pour over steak. Cover and simmer gently, turning occasionally, about 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Remove to serving platter, keep warm. Add sour cream to pan drippings, stirring to blend thoroughly. Heat but do not boil. Season to taste. Serve sauce over meat. Serves 6.
