Orange Beef & Vegtables

3 lb. chuck steak
2 Tbsp. butter
1 orange
6 medium carrots
6 medium potatoes
1 c. catsup
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 medium onions
Wipe steak with damp cloth; put meat in Dutch oven.
Spread the butter, salt and pepper on meat. Cover with the
onions sliced. Add catsup, sauce and orange, sliced. Cover
tightly and bake at 300 degrees until tender.
Pot roasted carrots and potatoes: Peel the carrots and
potatoes; add to meat when it has been in the oven 1 hour.
Season with salt and pepper. Bake with meat until all are
tender.
