    6 qts wild grapes,stemmed
    water
    4 qts apples
    4 cups sugar

    Cover grapes with water,bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes,drain.save the juice for jelly.take the grape pulp and place it in cheesecloth and tie.return to Pot (in the bag-to keep grape seeds out of the apples and to get the flavor from the grape pulp).add apples which have been quatered,do not peel.cover with water,bring to a boil;simmer 20 minutes,drain .save the juice for jelly.discard bag with grape seeds. put apple pulp through a sieve.

    place in Pot ,add sugar and heat to boiling,stirring constantly.cook to desired consistency.pour into clean jars; seal.makes 4 half pints.
