    Baked Sugar Cured Ham

    15 pound Ham (sugar cured and smoked)
    2 pints Honey
    1/2 pound Brown sugar
    1 teaspoon Cloves (ground)

    Place ham in stock pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, simmer 1 hour.

    Remove from pot; remove outer rind; trim excess fat. Score with knife. Place ham in roasting pan and cover with honey. Mix sugar and cloves together; sprinkle over ham. Add water to bottom of pan (approximately 1/4 inch) and bake at 350 degrees F. until golden brown. Serve with fruit sauce or favorite ham sauce.

    Makes 25 servings
