Glazed Meatloaf (Amish)

2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup milk
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 slices bread, cut into small pieces
2/3 cup carrots, shredded
2/3 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 pounds hamburger
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup catsup
1 teaspoon mustard
Stir together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and bread. Add carrots, onion, cheese, and hamburger. Mix well. Form into loaf. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Combine brown sugar, catsup, and mustard. Spread over meatloaf and bake 15 minutes longer. Makes about 10 servings.
