Pepsi Chicken

32 oz. bottle catsup
2 liter bottle Pepsi-Cola(Coke doesn't work)
3 to 4 lb. chicken (thighs,breasts and drumsticks work
best)
Remove excess fat from chicken. Place chicken skin side
down in ungreased deep pans such as a Dutch oven using only one layer of chicken.
(Reserve drumsticks for later.) Mix catsup and 6 cups Pepsi together in a separate bowl. Pour over chicken already in pans. If liquid doesn't cover the chicken,add remaining Pepsi. Bring liquid to boil. Boil 15 minutes.
Add drumsticks, placing them on top of the chicken already in
pans. Reduce the heat to medium. Let bubble for 2 1/2 hours.
As liquid boils, it evaporates and a thick sauce forms. Reduce
heat to low at this point. Stir occasionally throughout
cooking time to prevent sticking.
