    List of Ingredients




    1 C. flour (self-rising)
    2 1/2 C. cornmeal (self-rising)
    1 1/2 C. buttermilk
    1 egg
    2 onions, chopped
    hot water (just enough to moisten)

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients together.
    Using a tablespoon , spoon batter into a pan of hot oil.
    Brown on all sides and drain.
