    Stuffed Mushrooms With Pork


    1 Pound fresh mushrooms
    1/4 Cup salad oil
    1/3 Cup water
    1/2 Pound ground pork
    1 Clove garlic -- crushed
    1/2 Cup bread crumbs
    bacon

    Recipe




    Clean mushrooms and remove stems from caps.

    Brush caps with some oil and place in a baking dish (13 by 9 inch for standard serving size).

    In skillet, cook pork until no longer pink; remove from heat.

    Drain off all but 2 tablespoon of drippings.

    Add bread crumbs and chopped stems.

    Spoon crumb mixture into oiled mushroom caps.

    Pour water in bottom of baking dish.

    Bake for 20 minutes.

    6 servings
