Beef and Dumplings - Microwave
500g beef
1 onion
1 potato
1 carrot
1 turnip
1 parsnip
3 sticks celery
50g plain flour
2 teaspn gravox
2 beef stock cubes
450ml water
Dumplings;
150g S.R. flour
pinch salt
110ml milkRecipe
Cut beef into small pieces, or mince, peel and cut all the vegetables into the same size pieces, place into a casserole dish.
Mix together the gravox, stock cubes, flour and water, pour into the meat, stir.
Cook covered on 100% power for 18-20 minutes.
Sift the flour and salt together then mix to a dough with the milk.
Drop mixture by the spoonful onto the hot meat, cook on 100% power for 3-4 minutes.
