    Microwave Turkey Casserole


    1 lb. ground turkey
    2 onions, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 can home canned tomatoes with all juice removed
    chili powder, to your liking
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (could use white sauce and
    fresh mushrooms cooked in butter)
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
    corn chips

    Recipe




    Microwave ground turkey until almost cooked.

    Microwave onions and celery until almost cooked.

    To the microwaved ground turkey, add mushroom soup, over half of the onion and celery mixture, minced garlic and chili powder to taste.

    To the drained tomatoes, which have been mashed, add the rest of the onion and celery mixture and chili powder to taste.

    Mix well each of the 2 mixtures.

    Layer into a microwave casserole some corn chips, 1/2 of turkey mixture, 1/2 of tomato mixture and 1/2 of the grated cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Top with corn chips. Microwave, uncovered.
