    Barbecue Butter Beans


    1 can (15 oz.) butter beans, rinsed and drained
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    2 bacon strips, diced

    Recipe




    In a bowl, combine the beans, brown sugar, ketchup and onion.

    Transfer to a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish (or a 7" x 11" rectrangular baking dish).

    Sprinkle with diced bacon.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350º F., for 1 hour.

    Yield: 2 or 3 servings
