    Everyone loves this simple dish that uses a mix plus several other easy to obtain ingredients.

    List of Ingredients




    Vidalia Onion Cornbread


    1 box cornbread mix such as Jiffy
    2 Vidalia onions, sliced into large rounds
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 cups fresh or frozen corn
    1 cup mayonnaise
    several drops Tobasco
    1 cup grated cheese - Cheddar or Mozzarella

    Recipe




    Saute onions in butter.

    Mix cornbread according to directions on box.

    Spread cornbread in 13 x 9 x 2 dish.

    Add thick layers of onion.

    Separately mix other ingredients (do not have to thaw frozen corn) except cheese and spread on top.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

    Add cheese at the end with 5 minutes to go.
