Blueberry French Toast

tbs flour
2 eggs
2 tbs blueberry preserves
8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 cup milk
16 slices French bread
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
SAUCE---
1 tbs butter
2 tbs cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1 cup blueberries
1 cup water
Recipe
BEAT cream cheese, 1 tbs syrup and preserves in a bowl.
Spread over eight slices of bread, top with remaining bread.
Whisk eggs, milk, flour, vanilla, salt and remaining syrup in a bowl.
Dip both sides of bread into egg mixture.
COOK in a greased skillet until golden brown on both sides.
Combine sugar, water and cornstarch until smooth in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, cook until thickened.
Stir in blueberries, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer until berries burst.
Remove from heat, stir in butter.
SERVE with French toast...
