    Peaches and Cream French Toast


    one 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 cup peach preserves
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 loaf challah bread, cut into 1" slices
    8 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1 cup heavy cream
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. cinnamon

    Recipe




    In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, peach preserves, 1/4 cup sugar, mix well.

    Layer half bread slices in a 9x13" baking dish, evenly spread with cream cheese mixture.

    Cover with remaining bread slices.

    In a large bowl mix eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla, cinnamon, remaining sugar.

    Pour over bread, cover, refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

    Preheat oven to 375, bake covered 50-60 minutes or until firm.

    Can garnish with confectioners sugar, sliced peaches.
