Western Noodle Casserole
1 lb. ground beef
3 Tbsp. fat
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
(optional)
1 small can tomato paste
1 small can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. noodles
1 c. water
1 small can whole kernel corn
cheese, gated
Recipe
Brown meat in fat.
Add onion; cook until tender.
Add green pepper; cook until tender.
Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, seasonings, noodles and water.
Cook on simmer until noodles are done.
Add corn; pour into casserole.
Cover with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
Yields 10 servings.
