Butternut Squash Apple Bake
2 pounds butternut squash
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1/4 cup butter melted
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon mace
2 baking apples cored and slicedRecipe
Heat oven to 350.
Cut each squash in half then remove seeds and fibers and pare squash.
Cut into 1/2" slices.
Stir together remaining ingredients except apple slices.
Arrange squash in ungreased rectangular baking dish and top with apple slices.
Sprinkle sugar mixture on top then cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
