Georgia Peach Cake
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup veg oil
3 cups flour
1 teasp salt
1 tab baking powder
1/4 cup orange juice
2 1/2 teasp vanilla extract
2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1/4 cup sugar
2 teasp cinnamon
confectioners' sugar
Recipe
Set oven 350°F. Beat eggs, sugar, oil. Combine flour, salt, baking powder, add to eggs mix, along with orange juice. Add vanilla.
Toss peaches with sugar and cinnamon. Pour 1/3 batter in greased tube pan. Add 1/2 peach mixture, add another 1/3 batter, then rest of peach mix.
Then rest of batter. Bake one hour. Sprinkle with the conf. sugar when done, after ten minutes of cooling. Serves 10
