    Banana Nut Cheesecake


    1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs
    1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
    2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup mashed bananas
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts
    1/3 cup milk chocolate chips
    1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    2 tablespoons water

    Recipe




    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter.

    In a medium bowl, combine wafers crumbs and butter; mix well.

    Press onto the bottom of the prepared springform
    pan.

    Bake for 10 minutes.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and banana; beat until well blended.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Stir in walnuts. Pour over prepared crust.

    Bake for 40 minutes or until center is set.

    Loosen sides of pan; cool completely.

    Remove sides of pan.

    In a small saucepan, stirring constantly, melt chocolate morsels and butter with water.

    Drizzle over cheesecake.

    Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
