    Snicker Bar Pie


    1 9" chocolate crumb crust, baked
    10 Snicker's candy bars (2.7 oz)
    1/2 cup sugar
    12 ounces softened cream cheese
    1 jar caramel topping
    2 eggs
    1/3 cup sour cream
    1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
    3 tablespoons whipping cream
    2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
    a few more snickerbars chopped for garnish

    Heat oven to 325 degrees F.

    Cut candy bars in half lengthwise; cut into 1/4" pieces.

    Place half of the candy bar pieces over bottom of crust, then drizzle a few tablespoons of the caramel topping over them.

    In small bowl, combine sugar and cream cheese, beating until smooth.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add sour cream and peanut butter, beating until mixture is smooth.

    Pour over candy bar pieces.

    Bake at 325 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until center is set.

    Cool completely.

    In a small saucepan, heat whipping cream until very warm.

    Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips.

    Stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth.

    Spread over top of pie.

    Refrigerate 2-3 hours before serving.

    Serve topped with a good dallop of whipped cream and a little chopped snickerbars sprinkled over, then drizzle with more caramel.

    Store in refrigerator.
