Cherries Jubilee Trifle


1 medium size angel food cake
2 -8 ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
1 and 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 package Dream Whip (whipped topping)
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup milk
1 can cherry pie filling



Recipe


Make up the package of Dream Whip according to package directions.

Store in refrigerator.

Soften cream cheese to room temperature.

In a large bowl, mix together the milk, confectioner's sugar and vanilla.

Then gently mix in the softened cream cheese.

Fold in the Dream Whip.

In a large serving bowl or trifle dish, break the angel food cake into bite-size pieces.

Layer 1/2 of the pieces on the bottom, cover over with 1/2 of the cream cheese mixture, make another layer of cake and cover with the balance of the cheese mix.

Top with the can of cherry pie filling and refrigerate overnight.*

You can also layer the cherry pie filling if you wish
