    Patriotic Bundt Cake


    one 15.25 oz. box white cake mix + ingredients on box
    one 3 oz. box strawberry jello
    one 3 oz. box berry blue jello
    1 container white frosting

    Recipe




    Preheat oven to 350.

    Make cake batter according to directions on box.

    Then pour 1/3 of cake batter into a greased bundt pan.

    Then split remaining cake batter in half, pouring half into another bowl.

    Reserve 2 T. of strawberry jello, mix remaining strawberry jello into 1 bowl of cake batter until combined.

    Then pour strawberry cake batter on top of white layer.

    If you want to make a swirl pattern, pour red layer more in center of bundt pan.

    Reserve 2 T. of berry blue jello, mix remaining jello into remaining 1/3 of cake batter until combined.

    Pour blue cake batter on top of red, white layers, making sure to cover both layers.

    Bake cake 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Allow cake to cool 20 minutes then invert cake onto a plate, allow to completely cool.

    Once cake is completely cooled, frost bundt cake.

    Microwave frosting 15-30 seconds or until a little bit melted.

    Then split frosting into thirds.

    Stir 1 T. of reserved strawberry jello into 1/3 of frosting.

    Stir 1 T. of reserved berry blue jello into 1/3 of frosting.

    Leave other 1/3 of frosting white.

    Spoon each 1/3 of frosting into a small ziploc bag, cut corner off scissors.

    Then drizzle frosting onto bundt cake, alternating red, white, blue colors.
