    Peppermint Candy Ice-Cream Pie

    Peppermint Candy Ice-Cream Pie


    16 cream-filled chocolate cookies, finely crushed
    1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1 pint vanilla ice cream
    1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, partially thawed
    12 peppermint candies, crushed

    Garnish: crushed candy canes

    Recipe


    Combine chocolate crumbs and melted butter; press crumb mixture firmly into a 9-inch pieplate.

    Combine ice cream, half of whipped topping, and 12 crushed candies.

    Spoon mixture into prepared pieplate; cover and freeze at least 4 hours.

    Top pie with remaining whipped topping.

    Garnish with crushed candy canes if desired.
