Spicy Saucy Meatballs
1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, about 90%
1/2 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2/3 cup sweet orange marmalade
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup water
Recipe
Combine ground beef, water chestnuts, salt, pepper, and horseradish.
Shape meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place in 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients together and pour over meatballs.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.
Serve hot.
