    Bacon Cheddar Burgers


    1½ pounds ground beef
    6 slices Neuske’s Pepper Coated Bacon, minced
    2 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    ¼ C. minced fresh chives
    2 Tbsp. water
    4 steak buns toasted
    Toppings: mayonnaise, sliced tomatoes, lettuce

    Recipe




    In mixing bowl combine all ingredients. Gently mix to thoroughly combine.

    Divide meat into 4 equal portions. Form each portion into a patty.

    Preheat grill to medium to high heat. Brush grill grate with oil. Place patties on grill grate.

    Cook burgers to desire degree of doneness, about 6 to 7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160 F.

    Remove from grill and place on toasted steak bun. Top with your choice of toppings.
