Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Burger
2½ lbs. ground beef, chuck, or round
2 tbsp. steak grill seasoning
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
¾ cup mild cheddar cheese
¼ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. yellow mustard
1 tbsp. pickle relish
1 tbsp. red onion, chopped fine
Recipe
In a small bowl combine cheese and bacon, set aside.
Combine ground meat, gri seasoning, and Worcestershire in a bowl.
Toss gently so that all seasonings are distributed evenly.
To make patties, take a handful of ground meat and patty in your hand.
Take 1-2 tbsp. cheese mixture and place in the center.
Take another handful of ground meat and place on top.
Work meat so that all cheese and bacon is sealed inside patty.
In the center of the patty, make an indention with your finger.
This will prevent the center of the hamburger from puffing up while cooking.
Grill over medium high heat for 5 minutes on each side, or until desired done-ness.
To make sauce, combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Serve over warm burgers.
