    Cheese Filled Hamburger Patties


    1 1/4 lb lean ground beef
    1 tablespoon prepared barbecue sauce
    2 tablespoons tomato ketchup (sauce)
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    4 slices cheddar, brie, Camembert or blue-vein cheese
    7 oz can crushed pineapple

    Recipe




    Combine meat, sauces and onion.

    Divide mixture into 8 portions and shape evenly into thick, flat patties.

    Prepare a fire in a grill to medium heat.

    Place a cheese slice on 4 of the patties.

    Drain pineapple, spoon onto patties and top with remaining patties.

    Carefully mold patty so that it encases cheese completely (no visible joins).

    Grill, turning occasionally, for 15-20 minutes, or until done to your liking.

    Assemble in usual way.
