    Sausage and Onions


    8 Bratwurst Sausage (Pricked all over with fork)
    2 T Olive Oil
    2 Onions (Thinly Sliced)
    2 Cloves Garlic
    2 Cups Pilsner Lager
    1 T Whole Grain Mustard
    Salt & Pepper

    Recipe




    Heat a large skillet with a lid.

    Add 1 T olive oil and brown the sausages.

    Remove from skillet and set aside.

    Add remaining oil and add the onions.

    Cook until they begin to caramelize.

    Add the garlic and cook another few minutes.

    Add the sausages to the pan.

    Pour the pilsner over and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat to a simmer, add the whole grain mustard and cover with a lid.

    Simmer for 20 minutes or until sausages are cooked.
