    Bacon & Tomato Presto Pasta (healthy)


    4 1/2 cups penne pasta, uncooked
    8 slices bacon, chopped
    1 - 8 oz (250 g) tub Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Spread
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
    1/2 cup cherry tomatoes

    Recipe




    Cook the pasta as directed on the package, omitting the salt.

    Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a large skillet until it is crisp, stirring occasionally.

    Drain the bacon drippings from the skillet, reserving the bacon in the skillet.

    Add the cream cheese spread, milk, parmesan cheese & tomatoes to the skillet with the bacon.

    Cook over medium-low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cream cheese is completely melted & the sauce is heated through, stirring frequently.

    Drain the pasta.

    Add it to the cream cheese sauce in the skillet & mix it lightly into the sauce.

    Makes 8 servings, 3/4 cup (175 ml) each
